Hace tiempo que no hago review de una pelicula, quizás por el tiempo o porque quizas mis criticas me parecen muy childish. Arriesgandome a sonar de cualquier forma, no me importará hacer review de esta pelicula o de defenderla.
Porque aquellos que desprecian los cortometrajes, se perderán de ver algo muy valioso.

Paris, Je t'aime es una recopilación de 18 cortos en 2 horas, de los mismos productores de Amelie, que cuentan con la colaboración de maravillosos directores como Isabel Coixet (the secret life of words), Gus Van Sant (good will hunting), Alfonso Cuarón (y tu mamá tambien, children of men), Gerard Depardieu (esta es una de las pocas cosas que ha dirigido... pero no conocerlo como actor es herejía!), Tom Tykwer (Perfume the story of a murderer, Run Lola Run), Walter Salles (diarios de motocicleta), Sylvain Chomet (les triplettes de belleville), Wes Craven (scream, a nightmare on elm street), los hermanos Cohen (no country for old men) o el demente director de Cube, Vincenzo Natali.

A cada uno le correspondía un distrito de Paris, temáticas miles pero una sola maravillosa relación... Paris.

Los actores tampoco se quedarón atrás, participaron Juliette Binoche, Natalie Portman, Steve Buscemi, Catalina Sandino, Leonor Watling, Willem Dafoe, Maggie Gyllenhall, Elijah Wood y no se... muchisimos mas, pero mi memoria tiene límites.

En conjunto la calidad es increible y ver los toques de cada director me pareció precioso. Luego entre las historias algunas tenían más sentido o más calidad estéticas que otras, pero es el contraste lo importante.

Mis preferidos con diferencia fueron el distrito de la Torre Eiffel por Sylvain Chomet (que btw, es realmente un animador francés que adoro y este fue su primer trabajo en imagen real), Tuileries por Coen's brothers, Bastille por Coixet y Faubourg Saint-Denis por Tykwer.

I just saw this rough animation in this web and i liked a lot, you can tell that is a personal story, i guess that will happen to all of us someday, so, if we dont feel related right now, one day we will, and hopefully we'll be able to deal with it as good as this boy.

But what really caught my attention was the animation itself (why would that be? haahahha), i found it really natural. I dont really know if the animator had already made the postproduction, but as a rough animation fan, i just find it lovely this way n_n
